Itulcachi Project 2025

During the medical brigade in Itulcachi, we utilized clinical triage and nutritional evaluations to identify health risks. This allowed us to provide timely, prioritized care for those most vulnerable, especially children and seniors.

Location: Pifo, Quito, Ecuador

Target population: Itulcachi

Total Volunteers: 70

People served: 254

Health Services

In the clinical areas, the medical brigade provided care in general, family, and internal medicine, as well as cardiology and acupuncture, focusing on the diagnosis and management of prevalent diseases and the holistic well-being of patients.

Holistic Medicine

The medical brigade provided health and nutrition education, free medication dispensing with proper usage instructions, and nursing procedures, ensuring high-quality care for the community of Itulcachi.

Dental Care

In oral health, local children received dental cleanings, fillings, restorations, and fluoride applications. The use of specialized dental equipment ensured both efficient and timely care.
